Watch a Mile-High Tornado Touch Down Near Laramie Peak in Wyoming
It's not every day that you get to witness a true mountain tornado, but that's exactly what happened in Wyoming today as a confirmed twister touched down near Laramie Peak in Wyoming.
Wilhelm Farms Wyoming shared this video of a tornado that appeared over Laramie Peak in Wyoming today. This appears to be more than just a cold air funnel. All indications are that this was a real twister.
This tornado was just one of several tornado warnings issued by the National Weather Service in Cheyenne today.
There was also a landspout spotted on the Wyoming plains today, too.
