Just when you thought it was a peaceful getaway, Yellowstone's seismic dance is back at it again with over 150 tremors in just 30 days.

A weather system that is dumping heavy wet snow on some states in the western part of the U.S. will arrive in Illinois by this weekend, according to the Weather Channel.

The bad news: natural disasters are up. By a significant amount.

The National Weather Service shared that Casper set a new record high on July 17th at 101 degrees. The previous record was 99 degrees back in 1977.

Thursday afternoon 6/30/23, a twister began stretching down toward the west end of Casper Mountain, Wyoming.

Video shows a big rig that was flipped by a Wyoming tornado.

It's not every day that you get to witness a true mountain tornado, but that's exactly what happened in Wyoming today as a confirmed twister touched down near Laramie Peak in Wyoming.

"My first tornado" wrote Laramie resident Mark Tozer in a Facebook post about four hours ago.

Cheyenne had the sixth consecutive month of cooler than usual temperatures in April according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service.

Southeast Wyoming is no stranger to the wind, but today and Wednesday are going to blow, literally.
