What do you do when your area is hit with catastrophic flooding. If your a California man, you get out of your truck and grab a huge fish because this really just happened.

The Watsonville, California area has been one of the many coastal communities that has been on the receiving end of historic thunderstorms that have affected the region. This video shared by USA Today on YouTube shows one man's response.

This was a result of March storms that have dumped several inches of rain on an already saturated area. It was the Watsonville, California area that had flooding wash out a bridge back in January.

The Santa Cruz Sentinel reported that there were many streets shut down and residents evacuated as severe weather continues to clobber California. CNN estimates that as many as 15 million may be affected by the ongoing storms that continue to roll in off the ocean into central California.

This Watsonville man's lighthearted moment so far is one of the few bright spots in what has become a weather crisis for California and the West Coast in general and there's no immediate end in sight.
