Rising ocean surface temperatures have prompted the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association to increase its Atlantic Hurricane Season prediction to include an 'above average' amount of activity in 2023.

The National Hurricane Center are tracking the season's second named storm, Bret.

We really don't want to acknowledge this but we guess we have to. The 2023 Atlantic hurricane season will start next week with the official start set for Thursday, June 1st, 2023.

Before Tropical Storm Freddy took aim at Madagascar and Zimbabwe, it was spied from space by astronauts aboard the International Space Station. Video they shared shows the eyewall of this massive storm from thousands of feet above.
