2023 Hurricane Names Released: Is Your Name on the List?

It's that time of year again! The National Hurricane Center has released the names for the 2023 Atlantic hurricane season which runs from June 1 until November 30. Find out if your name is on the list.

Growing up in South Florida you never had to “look up” when hurricane season took place because it was always top of mind.

Ever since I could plot the latitude and longitude of the center of a storm on a paper map, a game I play is when the hurricane naming list is released it is my mission to see if any family or friends' names are on the list. Then I let them know

However, the naming list repeats every 6 years, so this year is a repeat of 2017. But seriously, who can remember from years past? This year, Harold, my Dads name is on the list along with several family names and 5 friends.
