Blistering heat set new records across the United States during what many believe to be the hottest summer ever recorded.

You probably won't believe this, but even with the scorching record temps, Colorado was the coldest place in the contiguous United States on Monday, July 24, 2023.

Mother's Day came and went this year and it was chilly! Yes, I know chilly is subjective, but 58 and windy in May sucks.

Some folks say it's why we live here in South Dakota. The change of seasons.

It looks like the weather in New York State is going from one extreme to the other. We had a pretty brutal winter with many regions facing blizzards, nor'easters, lake effect snow, bomb cyclones, thunderstorms, and some weather phenomena we probably don't even know about. Well, now, it looks like we can expect a hot summer.

It doesn't get any cooler than this - literally. Boise, Idaho just broke a record that hasn't been topped in more than 148 years and it has to do with a certain number on the thermometer that temps stayed below in that region.

It's hot. How hot is it? It's so hot that Quincy, Illinois just posted the warmest temperature for this day in January ever.
